Information We Collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. When you request a free guide, we ask for your first name and email address. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for your email address (a first name is optional). When you apply to join or start a team, or request an investigation, we collect the details you include in the form so the right team can respond to you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the Paranormal Hunters network except where required to respond to your request.

How We Use Your Information

Guide signups are used only to provide you access to the guide you requested. Requesting a free guide does not subscribe you to marketing emails — you will only receive it if you separately subscribe to the newsletter.

Newsletter subscriptions are used to send occasional dispatches from the field: new evidence, investigation highlights and event news. Every newsletter email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Team applications are shared only with the leadership of the team you applied to. Investigation requests are treated as confidential and shared only with the leadership of the nearest team and, where needed, network administrators so they can route and monitor your request.

Confidential Investigation Requests

If you ask us for help, we treat your request with discretion. Details of private investigations are kept confidential and are never published without permission. Public case files only ever include information that the affected team has approved for publication.

Third-Party Content and Links

Videos on this site are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and only load after you click play, so YouTube does not receive information about your visit until you choose to watch. Our Resources page links to external sites, including gear partners; those sites have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them. Some external links, such as our equipment partner, may be affiliate links that support the network at no extra cost to you.

Cookies and Local Storage

This site uses only the minimal browser storage needed to keep the site working, such as remembering your session if you sign in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data Retention

We keep guide signups, newsletter subscriptions, applications and investigation requests for as long as they remain useful for responding to you and operating the network. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your Choices

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, and you may ask us to update or delete the information you have given us. To make a request, contact us through the Request Help form on this site and include the email address you used.
